Kedar Upadhyay
Physiotherapist
Kedar graduated in 2008. After graduation Kedar worked in the Academic side of the profession for 2 years. After moving to Canada Kedar completed his license exam and gained clinical experience In various fields ranging from acute/subacute care, to out-patient physical therapy practices.
He is certified in chronic pain management, myofascial syndrome, shoulder rehabilitation, hip/knee replacements and office ergonomics consultation.

Seyed Hamid Abtahi
Acupuncture
Seyed is qualified as a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta CAA, R.Ac. and is graduated with Honours in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Seyed is very gentle and full of passion. His professional interest is to focus on many health conditions, including Pain Management, General Health, Digestive issues, Insomnia, Emotional and Psychological Disorder, Gynecological issues and Autoimmune disorder, among many other ailments. Seyed likes to incorporate different Modalities to help his patients and is trained in TCM modalities, Acupressure, Tuina, Moxibustion, Electro-Stimulation, Cupping, Scalp and Ear Acupuncture.
Monica
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Monica graduated from MaKami College with 3,000 hours of training. Monica offers a variety of massage treatments such as: Relaxation Massage, Hot Stone and Dynamic Cupping Treatment, Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Pre/Post Natal Massage, Deep tissue, Head with Scalp massage and Therapeutic Massage. Monica specializes in Orthopedic Massage that helps to relieve pain while restoring balance to the tissues and create a fuller range of motion. she completed the necessary 100 hours of education, practical experience and written examination for a certification from James Waslaski, L.M.T/The center for Pain Management(USA/TX).
Josephine Vishal
Resident Physiotherapist
Josephine is an avid promoter of health, physical activity and empowerment for all her clients. Her focus is on creating specialized treatment plans suited to each and every client’s individual goals and needs. She is passionate about patient care, and has a desire to expand her knowledge. She has certification in Building Better Bones – Level 1 for osteoporosis prevention, treatment and management. She handles pain, physical limitations and provides quality treatment to the highest possible levels.

Unnati Patel
Resident Physiotherapist
Three E’s set Unnati apart in her practice: Education, Experience and
Expertise. She spends more time understanding clients’ goals and aligns
her treatment plans based on client’s needs. She believes that no one can
beat evidence-based practice.
Unnati possesses excellent interpersonal skills and has been recognized
by clients regularly for her professionalism. For lifelong learning she
attended many workshops and courses to improve her clinical skills
ultimately to improve patient outcomes.
She offers wide variety of treatments which includes:

Saba Samreen
Office Admin Assistant
Saba is a certified Physical Therapy Assistant.She graduated from NorQuest College (with a distinction) in 2019. She has a master’s degree in biotechnology as well. Saba is well trained in assisting physiotherapists as and when needed. She has a zeal to learn new things and is currently working as an Office Administrative Assistant at Tamarack Physiotherapy expanding her knowledge in administrative department. Her goal is to be a physiotherapist and serve the community.
Cooking, meeting new people and helping them is her passion and it is very well noticed when you meet her at the front desk. She is a Naturalist so don’t be surprised if you bump into her while hiking or trailing. She is very empathetic and makes our clients feel safe and at home. Her kindness and energy are contagious and bring positivity to our clinic.
Priyanka Bambi
Office Admin Assistant
Priyanka is the friendly face at the front desk. She is our insurance and billing expert always ready to help with your questions or concerns. Priyanka is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their physiotherapy visit from making patients feel comfortable, scheduling their appointments, to processing their insurance claims. She has worked as a front desk since 2018.
Priyanka has joined our team here at Tamarack Physiotherapy and Massage In 2022 and is our receptionist and administration personnel expert. She moved from BC to Alberta in 2020 and worked as an office administrator in BC. To Priyanka the most important thing in life is family as life is too short and time is never promised to anyone. Priyanka looks forward to greeting you with a smile and booking your next appointment.
